The St. Johns County Employee Connection
REMINDER: Health Insurance Dependent Audit – deadline to submit all documentation is June 14, 2017
The County is currently conducting an audit of all dependents on the County's Health Insurance plan. Employees who have dependents covered on the health plan and who have not yet responded to prior requests from Benefit Advantage, will receive a third and final letter in the mail from Benefit Advantage. This is not a solicitation. Benefit Advantage is the vendor conducting the audit on the County’s behalf. You must return the requested documentation in order to verify your spouse and/or child(ren)'s eligibility for coverage. Failure to respond to this audit may result in your dependents being removed from your insurance coverage. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the benefits team at 209-0635 x5 or Benefit Advantage at 800-686-6829 x6. Thank you for your cooperation.

Dealing with Difficult Customers
May 24 from 12:30-4:30. The customer may always be right, but that doesn’t mean all customers are easy to deal with. In this workshop you will learn techniques on actively listening and building rapport. You will also learn not to get angry or upset because responding in kind will not solve anything. Never take it personally, the negative interaction is not typical of most customers, you’re dealing with an exception. And remember that you’re interacting with a human. Everyone has bad days. Try to help make their day better by being positive and providing a superior customer experience.
