SJC Tuition Reimbursement Program

While paying for employees' college costs can be expensive, our tuition-reimbursement program is an effective way to retain good workers. It fosters job satisfaction, improves productivity and contributes to our overall success. SJC may pay up to $2000 per fiscal year for employees seeking further education. Employees MUST apply for this benefit PRIOR to registration to ensure funds are available. Continuing Education policy

St. Johns County Public Library Brainfuse HelpNow and JobNow - In addition to many free online information databases, the library system offers free, easy to access Brainfuse HelpNow that includes online tutoring or students of all ages, writing lab, language lab, and lifelong learning options. Brainfuse JobNow offers resume assistance, live career coaching, interview tips, skill assessments, and more. All you need is a library card! EdX offers interactive online classes and MOOCs from the world’s best universities, colleges and organizations. Online courses from MITx, HarvardX, BerkeleyX, UTx and many other universities can be taken here. Topics include biology, business, chemistry, computer science, economics, finance, electronics, engineering, food and nutrition, history, humanities, law, literature, math, medicine, music, philosophy, physics, science, statistics and more. Coursera offers world-class courses online at significantly discounted rates or free. You learn on your own schedule. Watch short video ectures, take interactive quizzes, complete peer graded assessments, and connect with fellow learners and instructors. Take a single course or master a specialization.
